In 2008, the approximate population of Bloomfield Township was 42,600 with an average age of 47.2. The community has a land area of 24.9 square miles and a low population density of 1,710 people per square mile. Residents enjoy an average household income of $150,969 and the median home price was $443,974 in 2007. The township enjoys a safe, low crime rate.
Between May and September, the average temperature is a mild 66° with highs in the low 80's during July.
